Veterans 10K & 5K
Finisher medals each year for both the 10K & 5K will showcase a major battle from WWII. For the inaugural event year the finisher medals will highlight where it all started for the United States Military in the Pacific at Pearl Harbor! The surprise attack on US Military Forces on the Hawaiian Islands and Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 threw the United States into WWII. Our Award Medals of Gold, Silver & Bronze will be a Military Dog Tag in design and will be an annual feature at the New Orleans Veterans 10K & 5K events.
